Game Music(s) Of The Week

In the wake of Grand Theft Auto III’s big 10th Birthday just last week and in the excitement of the coming Grand Theft Auto V first trailer ohh so very close I thought I would cheat with Game Music of the Week and by cheat I mean chose all GTA Soundtracks.

I thought I would throw together a choice cut from each game. The rest are all on YouTube so you savvy internet users know what to do if I didnt pick your favorite.

GTA: Joyride – Da Shootaz

GTA LONDON: Riz Ortolani – Tiffany Sequence M. 22 (Radio Andorra)

GTA 2: Spangly Feet – Dazed & Confuzed(Futuro FM)

GTA III: Lazlo – Chatterbox FM

GTA: Vice City:  Mr. Mister – Take These Broken Wings (Emotion 98.3)

GTA: San Andreas:  Rod Stewart – Young Turks (KDST)

GTA: Liberty City Stories: Mob Deep – Shook Ones Pt2 (GAME FM)

GTA: Vice City Stories: Pat Benetar – Love is a Battlefield (Flash FM)

GTA IV:  Kanye West – Flashing Lights (The Beat 102.7)

GTA: TLAD: Bon Jovi – Wanted Dead Or Alive (Liberty Rock Radio)

GTA: BOGT: Booty Luv – Boogie 2night (Vladivistok FM)

GTA Chinatown Wars: ? Alchemist (the entire mix)

GTA V: ????

And this is where another question untop of all the other questions is laid regarding the new GTA. Just what kind of soundtrack are we instore for this time?  No game creates soundtrack anticipation like a Grand Theft Auto game and if the songs above dont prove why (perhaps sans GTA 1) then I dont know what would.
